I am to glad I decided to hire Shay Brown and her team for my wedding. These girls are amazing, I worked with Amy at first and she was amazing, Kalen was the planner at the wedding and I can’t thank her enough!!!! I do not consider these ladies vendors anymore, I consider them my family because I can’t thank them enough for making my wedding so beautiful and perfect!!! I literally have tears in my eyes typing this because I am going to miss you girls.
Our wedding was perfect, and my husband and I will be forever grateful for the amount of effort, professionalism, and artistry that Shay Brown, Amy Wood, and the rest of the staff put into our wedding. Everything about it was far beyond what we expected or could have ever imagined. Not only were we blown away, but so were our guests. Worth every penny.
From day one, Shay and her team were incredibly helpful. She was able to create my absolute DREAM wedding day! Not only did Shay design a visually stunning wedding, but her coordination skills lead to an absolutely flawless day. She goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect day. She is incredibly talented! There is no one more qualified for planning and executing a wedding than Shay and her team. Our daughter’s wedding was a vision…and now a dream that we all continue to conjure and will do so forevermore. My mom always taught me that “the devil’s in the details” and will make or break an event or project. Well, I can assure you that the details will be covered. To mention a few… photographer interviews, guest preparations and planning for before, during, and following the celebrations, transportation for everyone during the entire weekend, dining/food suggestions, exquisite designs, flowers, etc. for ceremony and reception and all additional events, invitation proofing….I can go on and on. Shay and her team also were also responsible for the meet and greet cocktail hour, rehearsal dinner and venues for all weekend events. Oh yes, they know ALL the best places for all the events. They do not force any one place upon you; you are offered their best suggestions with full explanations, including budget parameters, and then you choose. They also were the designers for the bridal luncheon and even helped with deciding upon food for the bride and her maids during their morning and afternoon preparations before the wedding as well as knowing the absolute best hair and makeup design people. They guide you through each and every step of the process. By the time the wedding arrives, all you and your family have to do is ENJOY!!!!!!! In addition, I fully appreciated their continuous alertness to the budget parameters using detailed communication throughout the planning process. No pop up surprises, therefore, ever occurred. Timelines are constantly updated. Their organizational skills are excellent. We all love Shay, Amy, and their team
Shay and her amazing staff with Shay Brown Events made our wedding a genuine dream come true. As a professional myself, I value timely responses, personalized attention and most importantly, attention to detail. Shay exceeds every expectation we had for our special event. Looking back, almost 6 months later, there is not one single thing I would have changed. In addition, Shay's ideas and experience brought so much to our special day. WOW. Not sure how else to say other than, Shay Brown saved me and my wedding! I didn't have to worry about a thing and even still today, I am hearing from my guests how stunning and breathtaking our wedding was. Shay is not only incredibly professional, she was always there to listen to me when I need to vet an idea. Shay took over my wedding as the full wedding designer and planner with only 3 months’ notice and I can't begin to tell you the difference I saw in her abilities over the other vendor I was working with (and the other vendor came highly recommended -- so this should tell you without saying much that her skillset is unparalleled in the industry). Our wedding was very elaborate in detail; we wanted our guests to have the true southern experience and she accomplished that and then some -- down to the detail of how our servers approached our guests to the way our transportation service arrived and shuttled people around. There was not ONE detail that was missed. Our guests still refer to our wedding as the "Royal Wedding" and I know that is largely because of the service they received in addition to the stunning design. Shay started out as my wedding planner, but she will forever exist in my contacts as someone near and dear to my heart. It was a true pleasure to work with her and her team; they truly made my wedding dreams come true.
We went thru a lengthy process before deciding on Shay. We interviewed several others but realized quickly she matched our vision. We had the Full Wedding Package. We are in the Chicago area and planning our wedding in Nashville, we needed Shay and her team to take care of everything from venue, catering, flowers, invitations, music etc. It was truly an amazing experience to work with Shay and her team. Everything she promised, she delivered all within our budget. We wanted certain things that she was able to source for us. They were a total pleasure to work with. They don't come better that Shay and SBE. People are still talking about how amazing it was.
From the day we began working with Shay Brown Events, I knew hiring a day-of planner was the right decision. We were planning a wedding from a distance, and needed help knowing what we needed to provide, what vendors would provide, and how everyone would be in touch with one another about scheduling, etc. Amy asked questions we wouldn’t have known to ask, and helped us to avoid countless oversights. And as professional as Amy was during the preparatory stage, I was blown away with her help on the day of the wedding. I never felt like she was telling us what to do or rushing us or pulling us away from our celebration. Rather, that she was discretely helping to remind us of upcoming moments and helping us make the event happen as we wanted to in the moment. My husband and I had so much fun that day (something I know many brides and grooms cannot readily say about their weddings) and attribute that in large part to having such a top notch day-of planner helping us out!
